CAN I USE CAR FUEL IN MY HELICOPTER
NO. CAR FUEL HAS MUCH LOWER OIL CONTENT AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE IN HELICOPTERS.

Can I use OPTIFUEL in my YS engines?
Yes we have several fuels for YS engines both for 2 and 4 stroke. Many of the 4-stroke pilots use OH3020 this is 20% KLOTZ oil and 30% nitro and works well for bigger YS 4 strokes and great in YS91ST and SR. For 2 strokes OH2018 and OH3020 are good. We also do a YS miix for those who prefer a bit mor oil at 22% this is OH3022YS. For fixed wing pilots using the new YS170CDi the mix is OH2510 or OH3020 both work well on factory engines. Do not use OH2510 on conversions. We have done extensive testing on YS50, YS63, YS91SR, YS91ST, YS140, YS160, YS170, YS170CDi.

Do you have sponsered pilots?
Yes we do, Dave Fisher was our first sponsered pilot for helicopters, but now nearly all top pilots use OPTI. We are looking for further pilots in 3D/freestyle fixed wing, please call!

Do you make a "Straight" fuel blend?
Yes we can do this as a box of two or four. This is only made to order so please call office and ask or mail us at sales@optifuel.co.uk.

Do you ship fuel free of charge?
The answer is yes for 5 boxes or more. To arrange this you would need to call the office as the website cannot process a zero carriage rate.

Does OPTI suply pre-mix oils for petrol engines?
Yes, go to the OPTIPROTECT catagory andd you will find the pre-mix oils there, 200ml and 1 lts bottles again KLOTZ oils specifically blended to mix with petrol.

Does OPTI supply Nitro car fuels?
Yes, we manufacture both RACE and RTR fuels these are sold exclusively via HPI Europe and are avaible in all HPI retailer outlets.

How much Nitro have you got?
As you will be aware Nitro was both scarce and very expensive during 2008 some suppliers stopped the supply of 30% temporarily. We have secured supplies which we anticipate will allow us to produce without any supply issues for the foreseable future.

How much oil is there in OPTI RACE fuel?
There is 9% oil in the OPTI RACE fuel and this is fully synthetic KLOTZ low viscosity oil. This will produce great power and good throttle response but probably a tad more smoke than some of our competitors.
